BRIDGE Courses
Lake Placid High School is partnered with North Country Community College in Saranac Lake, NY and we are lucky to offer our students the opportunity to take courses within our building, granting them 3-6 NCCC credits per course. Students are able to send with their high school diploma, an official college transcript listing the credit they have earned. Students are able to leave with a maximum of 15 NCCC college credits, almost an entire college semester. NCCC is part of the CUNY system and credits are accepted at all SUNY and CUNY schools and most post-secondary institutions. In order to gain NCCC credit, students must be at the junior level of high school, or 16 years old. BRIDGE courses have an additional fee of $60 per course.
